Mary Kent Bailey
As a long time Arizona resident, Mary Kent Bailey began an organized study of art at the University of Arizona in Tucson. A gallery sale at the time sealed her committment to fine art. She also studied at the University of Alaska and at various workshops. She continues to seek opportunities to learn more. Her paintings are representational and she has worked in a variety of mediums.
Moving to Globe with her husband over 10 years ago for a job that never materialized they both decided they liked tha area and would stay anyway. "We still enjoy living here."
At her show at the Copper Mine Picture Cafe in the spring of 2007, Mary showed a series of landscapes that cemented her status as one of the regions top painters. She will have another show at Copper Mine Picture Cafe in the spring of 2008.
